Q - What is blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery, is a plastic surgery procedure designed to rejuvenate and brighten the eye area by removing excess skin and bulging fat pads from the upper and lower eyelids. The procedure can dramatically improve the signs of aging occurring around the eye area, including a tired and puffy look.

Q - Who is a candidate for blepharoplasty?
Men and women who are in good health and looking to improve sagging upper eyelids or puffy under-eye bags may be good candidates for blepharoplasty.

Q - What should I expect during a consultation for blepharoplasty?
During the consultation for blepharoplasty, Dr. Vitenas will go over your complete medical history, take the time to understand your goals, and answer all of your questions. You will see pre-op and post-op photos of previous blepharoplasty patients, and computer imaging will be used to help you visualize your own personal results. Dr. Vitenas will discuss reasonable and expected outcomes, and explain the details of the procedure including the technique, the recovery, the risks, the costs, and financing options.
