Financing Options Perlane is an injectable filler recently approved by the FDA. It is a large-molecule hyaluronic acid filler which can be injected beneath the skin to plump up and improve the appearance of facial folds and wrinkles. Perlane produces a super volumizing effect with long-lasting results of up to one year.
Good candidates for Perlane include men and women who are looking to improve the appearance of facial folds and wrinkles. Perlane is best used on individuals with deeper folds and facial lines or those requiring greater support and/or volume.
The Perlane injection is an in-office treatment which takes less than one hour to complete. To optimize the patient’s comfort, a topical numbing agent and/or dental block may be used. A small needle is then used to inject the Perlane solution beneath the skin.
As with any injectable procedures, some swelling and possible bruising may occur after treatment with Perlane.. While patients can immediately return to work and other normal activities, they should be aware that some redness and swelling may be present. Perlane is a safe treatment associated with very few risks.
