Meet Dr. Vitenas
The Fine Art of Natural Cosmetic Surgery

Sculptra is an innovative injectable product which restores lost facial volume and fills in lines by stimulating the production of the body’s own collagen. Sculptra may be used to treat sunken cheeks, hollow eyes, indentations, folds, and other sunken areas. Results are very natural and long lasting. Sculptra may also be used to rejuvenate the hands by eliminating the appearance of large, protruding veins and, when combined with IPL to eliminate age spots of the hands, the rejuvenative effect can be particularly dramatic. Sculptra may also be layered with other fillers like Radiesse and Sculptra in order to achieve a more immediate and long-term volumizing effect. The main difference between Sculptra and other facial fillers is its ability to correct volume deficiencies through the stimulation of collagen.

The best candidate for Sculptra treatment is a man or woman with a thin, narrow face which has begun to lose the firm, elastic appearance and volume of youth .The Sculptra injection is an in-office procedure that takes less than an hour to complete. A topical numbing agent is used and, depending on the area treated, this may be combined with a dental block. The Sculptra solution is injected beneath the skin with a thin needle.

Before & After Sculptra Photos As with any injectable, patients can expect some slight swelling and possible bruising after the Sculptra treatment. Work and other normal activities may be resumed immediately after treatment, though some patients choose to wait until the redness and swelling have subsided. More strenuous exercise and activities may be resumed within twenty-four to forty-eight hours. The results will appear gradually over a three to four month period after treatment and last for two years or longer. Patients will require approximately three to six treatments spaced one month apart.
