One doesn’t have to think hard about why the Brazilian Butt Lift is called that, and, say, not the American Butt Lift. Brazil is known for having some of the most beautiful women, and behinds, in the world. If you’re considering an upgrade for your derriere, Dr. Vitenas can help.
Send Your Pictures
Yes, this procedure is pricy – it costs between $9,000 to $11,000 – but for everything mentioned above, it is worth it. To obtain a more accurate price, Dr. Vitenas and his team requests you upload your photos to their “contact us” form and include your contact information along with a brief description of what you want your bottom to look like. After reviewing who you are and the time the surgery will take, a price will be given.
Who’s a Candidate?
If you’re healthy and want to augment your behind, you must have enough fat that can be harvested from one to two other areas of your body. If you’re a smoker, this isn’t the right surgery for you because, with patients who smoke, fat grafting may not take.
What About Scars and the Surgery
Don’t worry about them. Since the incisions are made within natural skin creases, they’re well-hidden, and they only measure one-quarter of an inch. After this incision, the fat is taken from the predetermined areas on the body using liposuction techniques. The removed fat is then prepared and injected into the buttocks to lift and fill them out until they reach their desired size and shape.
When Will You Be Ready
Although you’re able to return to work within five to seven days, recovery takes up to one to two weeks. During that time, you should stay off your butt as much as possible. This surgery requires no stitches that need to be removed, nor any drains. After six weeks, you can start doing strenuous activities again.
